This seminar/workshop will provide you with a short presentation on the financial aid process, followed by an update on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The first part’s topics will include: What is financial aid? What are the types of financial aid? How do (or should) I apply for financial aid? What is financial aid need? How is need/aid determined? How do I appeal for more aid? How do I pay the remaining costs? The second part will focus on providing updates about procedural and calculation changes to the FAFSA.
