About this event
Congratulations on adding to your family! This exciting time may feel like navigating uncharted waters, with plenty of questions and decisions along the way.
The Preparing for Baby (PFB) Series offers evidence based information, answer to your questions, moments of reflection, and support through connection to others who are pregnant and/or preparing to welcome a new family member.
This semester, we are making a few changes to better meet the scheduling needs of our busy participants. These changes include:
Cornell Work/Life and parental leave/accommodation experts will lead the first session, providing information on Cornell resources, benefits, and parental leave/accommodations for pregnant and new parents. Our local pregnancy and birth expert, Kate Dimpfl, will lead the next three sessions covering pregnancy, birth, and the immediate postpartum period.A stand alone Perinatal Mental Health session will be offered this fall. Details and scheduling information will be announced soon.A stand alone breast/chest feeding series will be offered this fall. Details and scheduling information will be announced soon. All those in our Cornell Community (faculty, staff, postdocs, and students) and their partners/support persons are welcome to attend.
This series is offered via Zoom from 5:30-7:30 pm EST, and is free of charge to participants.
