Event details Date: Thursday, October 8, 2026 Time: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM About this event Virtual Forum: AI's Impact on Career Readiness: Teaching ‘Human Skills' by the Chronicle of Higher Education (CHE) with support from Acuity Insights. Day/Date/Time: Thursday, October 8, 2026, 2 p.m. ET Description: AI can draft the email, summarize the report, and build the spreadsheet. It can't run the meeting, resolve the disagreement, or read the room. That's the work employers increasingly say new graduates aren't ready for - and it's exactly the territory "human skills" are supposed to cover. Join The Chronicle of Higher Education for a virtual forum on Thursday, October 8, at 2 p.m. ET, designed for anyone responsible for getting students ready for that career reality: provosts, career-services leaders, faculty, and program designers. Attendees will learn: How institutions are teaching teamwork, communication, and navigating difference. Which practical approaches can help assess these skills in the classroom. What strategies document those skills so they show up on transcripts and mean something to employers. Registration : Registration is required and there is no cost to attend. Register by copying this to your browser, enter your information and select the "register" button: AI's Impact on Career Readiness: Teaching ‘Human Skills' ----------- Note: Coordinate all training attendance with your supervisor.
