About this event
The Emil Buehler Planetarium and the Central Florida Astronomical Society are teaming up to host telescope viewing under the dark skies of Seminole State's Geneva campus.
Telescopes will be setup on the campus's driving track which provides ample space and clear horizons to view the entire sky. The staff of the planetarium will also provide several constellation laser tours of the night sky. Please note that this event is held outdoors and observing is contingent upon good weather conditions. Please check back within 12 hours of the event start time for a final decision on if we need to cancel due to inclement weather.
Address to Geneva Campus:
2450 Gun Range Rd
Geneva, Florida 32732
Geneva nights are completely free and open to everyone. No need to reserve just show up the night of each event. We encourage anyone who owns a telescope to bring it to the viewing area and volunteers will be around to assist you in the operation of the telescope. We also suggest to bring chairs, blankets, binoculars, snacks, and bug spray as it can get buggy.
