"InvisiBUDDIES: Navigating Life with Invisible Disabilities" SHARE Community Meeting

Event details Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2026 Time: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Location: Disability Cultural Center - Conference room (SSB) - Student Services Building Room 2.106 100 West Dean Keeton St. Type: Student Life About this event Life while managing an invisible disability can often be overwhelming, especially when also managing academics. In this peer-led community, we’ll share hacks and resources for managing our disabilities and connect with each other over this often-unseen part of our lives. Whether trying to balance classes with medical needs or dealing with internalized stigma or impostor syndrome, we all deserve support and community. No formal diagnosies is required. Note: This is not a replacement for clinical mental health services. SHARE Communities are weekly student-led groups where peers with similar interests, concerns, or wellness goals can find community and social connection that goes beyond surface-level. They are places to step away from the grind and let down the mask, where mutual support, imperfection, and “real” conversations are the expectation rather than the exception. We aim to give fellow students a place to be themselves and feel at home, where their resources and inner wisdom can directly benefit others going through similar struggles.
