About this event
Ready to turn heat and steel into your own creation? UF's Gator Blacksmithing club is excited to introduce beginners to the art of metalworking! Learn hands-on bladesmithing, blacksmithing, and metallurgy in a welcoming workshop built for anyone looking to craft with fire and hammer.
No prior experience or engineering background required. This workshop is open to all majors with zero application process. Wear closed-toe shoes and natural-fiber clothing (100% cotton). All forge safety gear, hammers, and tongs are provided.
This event will meet in the on-campus forge behind Rhines Hall.
