Día de los Muertos is one of the many amazing events planned for Latinx Heritage Month at UC San Diego, celebrated from September 15 through October 31. This annual celebration showcases the intersectionalities of Latinx people and culture and builds community among students, faculty, and staff. This year’s theme, “Unidos Somos Más” (Together, We Are More), reminds us that we are stronger when we gather, remember, and celebrate together. This event is free and open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members. Bring a friend, bring your family, and come honor the loved ones who came before us. Want to help bring this celebration to life? Thursday, October 29, from 3:30 to 7 PM We’re looking for volunteers to support the altar, activity tables, and setup.
