About this event
Securing the Future: U.S.-Korea Cooperation in Defense, AI and Trade examines how the United States and the Republic of Korea are navigating critical shifts in economic and national security. As geopolitical competition accelerates, aligning strategic industrial policies and defense capabilities is essential to building enduring alliance resilience.
This public roundtable brings together top policy, industry and defense leaders to unpack three interconnected fronts: the strategic landscape of artificial intelligence (AI), the impact of maritime trade policy and the Jones Act on shipbuilding and logistics, and evolving security dynamics in the Indo-Pacific.
This public lecture series is organized by the Korea-Pacific Program at the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS). For more information on program activities, please visit gps.ucsd.edu/kpp.
If you have any questions, please contact GPS Events Coordinator Susan Zau.
