Event details Date: Tuesday, October 13, 2026 Time: 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Location: La CASA - STU 400 - 3601 Trousdale Parkway, Los Angeles, CA 90089 Type: Lecture / Talk / Workshop Campus: Capital Campus Department: La CASA Audience: Students About this event This powerful conversation brings together formerly incarcerated individuals who spent much of their lives in prison, a neuroscientist, and a former public defender to explore how people can change, heal, and build meaningful lives regardless of their past. Through personal stories and insights from science and the justice system, the panel will examine what creates lasting transformation, where hope comes from, and what makes a second chance possible. The event invites us to reconsider what we believe about human potential and leave with the conviction that change is possible—for ourselves, our communities, and others.
