About this event
USC IETC is launching an interdisciplinary reading group on AI, Philosophy, and Society. The group will meet over lunch to discuss questions at the intersection of artificial intelligence, philosophy, ethics, and society, bringing together perspectives from across disciplines.
The group is for people interested in the broader questions that AI raises about knowledge, reasoning, values, agency, trust, fairness, robustness, and society. We welcome perspectives from philosophy, computer science, and other disciplines, and no specific technical background is required.
To lead a session: bring a paper, recent work of your own, or a problem you are stuck on. Slides are optional and a finished result is not expected.
Please contact Prof. Evi Micha (evi.micha@usc.edu) if you would like to join or present in the reading group.
