It offers a platform for emerging scholars to present their work-in-progress, receive feedback from faculty and peers, and participate in interdisciplinary discussions within a supportive environment. The 2026 conference will take place on October 1-2, 2026 on the USC campus. Over two days, junior scholars will present their papers on topics related to Korean music, fandom culture, literature, spatial history, diplomatic history, and social integration issues.
