Our guest speaker, Eric Zack from The Conversation, joined by Ph.D. student contributors, will offer practical guidance and firsthand insights on developing ideas, writing for a public audience, and publishing your scholarship on the platform. Speaker: Eric Zack is chief partnership officer for The Conversation. He began his career as a fundraiser for his alma mater, the University of Michigan (his alma mater. After similar positions at the University of Massachusetts, Suffolk University and Georgetown University, he transitioned to consulting with universities for The Chronicle of Higher Education and NBC News' educational division, before landing his current role.
