EduHookup Community Guidelines

EduHookup works best when students post clearly, act respectfully, and use the platform for real campus connections instead of spam, scams, pressure, or harassment.

Be clear

Use the right category, school, city, and title so students understand what your post is about.

Be respectful

No harassment, threats, hate, impersonation, manipulation, or pressuring people to respond.

Be safe

Meet in public, protect private information, and report suspicious or unsafe behavior.

Not allowed on EduHookup

Do not post scams, spam, fake identities, illegal activity, explicit exploitation, threats, harassment, stolen items, prohibited sales, financial schemes, or content designed to mislead or harm students.

Do not use dating, friends, study, roommate, event, or marketplace-style posts to pressure someone into unsafe situations or to collect private information.

Category quality matters

Dating and friends posts should be honest and respectful. Study buddy posts should be about school help and academic collaboration. Event posts should clearly explain what, where, and when. Buying and selling posts should describe the item accurately.

Reports and moderation

EduHookup may remove posts or restrict accounts that appear unsafe, misleading, abusive, spammy, or harmful. If something feels wrong, report it through the contact form.
